Tam said...: As a middle aged adult I do tip better than average, especially in the US. I can understand foreigners' confusion though. I can never figure out what I'm supposed to tip or not. In the UK, both Kristen and I were confused if we were supposed to tip cab drivers. If it was 8.50, we'd just give them 10 and you'd think we've given them a diamond ring. Also many foreigners may assume it's included in the bill which it sometimes is here and sometimes not. I figure better to tip even if it's not that customary than to under-tip.; 2:04 PM
