Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection!

In February, 1981, thirty five years ago, Uncanny X-Men #142 was published.

This is the second part of the two-parter "Days Of Future Past" storyline.  This is the story the last X-Men movie was based on.  And it's a GREAT story.  And, in the future part of the story, almost everyone still alive there died: Magneto, Colossus, Storm, Wolverine, Franklin Richards.  The only ones to survive were the adult Kitty Pryde and Rachel Summers.  But, much like the movie, they succeeded in changing the past so that future would never come to pass.

Or so we thought.....
