Today's map answers the age-old question, "Is there a city anywhere named after a particular state?"  (ie City, like Alabama City, Alaska City, Arizona City, etc)

The dark blue states have a city named after them within their own borders.
The light blue states have a city named after them in another state
The red states have no city named after them anywhere.
