This numbers aren't up to date, unfortunately they're all higher now, but the percentages remain the same. 

In case you can't read it, the first circle shows the world's population in orange, the USA population in blue.
The middle one shows in orange, the world's cases of COVID-19, the USA's number in blue
On the right, in orange, the world's number of deaths from COVID-19, the USA's in blue.

In other words, the USA has many MANY more cases of infection and death than our population would suggest.

But when you have NO national strategy to  combat the worst health crisis of our generation, other than to say it's hoax and it'll all just go away, it shouldn't be surprising this is what happens.
