See, I said this after I saw the movie!  It wasn't a perfect film, it had it's faults, but by GOD, that WAS Superman on the screen!  That was THE Superman I knew and loved.

That is simply what the people associated with The Man Of Trash all those years ago did not get.  Superman was not supposed to be riddled with angst and allowing his father to die in a tornado or a schoolbus full of kids to drown to protect his own identity.   Superman's not like that.  To Superman...

I have hope now that with James Gunn in charge, maybe DC movies will get back to the characterization as they SHOULD be!
