Badass Birthday
Today, in 1858, 1 hundred and sixty seven years ago, in New York, Theodore Roosevelt was born.
He is without a doubt, the second greatest Republican president after Abraham Lincoln (but really, that's a pretty low bar considering most the Republican presidents we've had.)
He was very Progressive and anti-trust. He had a black man to dinner at the White House causing a HUGE Scandal. He promoted the "Square Deal": promoting fairness, regulating industries and emphasizing conservation. He constructed the Panama Canal and got a Noble Peace Prize, the first of four presidents to earn one.
Clearly he's a total badass!
