Badass Birthday
On this day, 91 years ago in York, UK, was born Dame Judi Dench.
She started out on stage, mainly doing Shakespeare, before breaking into movies. She earned over 200 awards, including an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. In interviews I've seen with her she's got a rapier sharp wit and is surprisingly funny.
But why is she a badass? She's the first, and only female, to play M in the James Bond movie franchise. And in fact, she's played the role in 8 different movies, the second most of all four actors who have done the role.
