 Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection

Today we travel back to December 1982 and DC Comics' Adventure Comics #494.

At this point in time, DC was printing Adventure Comics in a Digest Format.  It was smaller than standard Comics, and it had a new original story, but also several reprints.  

The original story here involved The Challengers of The Unknown, a team that I was never fond of.  But the cover art was done by Keith Giffin, who was one of my favorites at that time.  Plus two of the reprints were Legion Of Super-Heroes stories which I loved.  And the other reprints clued me in on stories and characters from the past.
