If I were a hero, I'd be Martin Luther (Part 1316)...

Superhero Anydays

Back in the 60s, Charlton Comics made their own superhero line.  I lasted maybe half a decade and then folded.  Twenty years or so later, DC Comics bought the rights to all the Carlton characters, reworked them a bit and put them on their own Earth, Earth-C in the mulitverse.

Then, the Crisis On Infinite Earths merged the several surviving worlds (don't ask) into one, and the Charlton heroes became part of the regular DC universe.

This is from about that time: it shows the Charlton heroes with the DC bullet behind them.

Clockwise from upper right: Blue Beetle (with his Bug in far upper right corner), Sarge Steel, Judemaster, The Question, Peacemaker, Nightshade and Captain Atom.

And today we also have a smiling, cute guy coordinating his Batman cap and shirt.
