Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection
Today we travel back to May 1981 and Marvel Two-In-One #75!
Marvel Two-In-One was like Marvel Team-Up and DC's DC Comics Presents and Brave And The Bold, in that each issue had the same character in it but a different guest star(s) each month.
Brave and the Bold had Batman, DC Comics Presents had Superman, Marvel Team-Up had Spider-Man and Marvel Two-In-One starred the Thing from the Fantastic Four. In this particular issue, The Thing teamed up with The Avengers (this line-up being Iron Man, Captain American, Wasp, Beast and Hawkeye), and they fault the Fantastic Four enemy Blastaar and the Avengers' old power copying android foe The Super Adaptoid.
I always preferred this series over Team-Up. I was never a huge fan of Spider-Man, or the Thing either for that matter, so I can't say why I preferred his series. But I did.
