Badass Birthday
Today, 134 years ago in 1891, in Canada was born Frederick Banting.
Who, you ask. Who is that? And why is he a badass? Well he's a very important person in history, especially for me and people like me.
Frederick Banting was the first to isolate insulin. He revolutionized the treatment of diabetes with his discovery. And with that, made life longer and better for diabetics like myself.
That's why he's a badass!
He passed away in 1941 at the much too young age of 49.
