I've got books lining my shelves day and night....
Books 2020
I've not been good with keeping up with this....or really with buying books either. Since I'm not going anywhere, the only time I get books are when I order them. Well in the last couple months I've ordered four of them:

I dont have the actual dates I bought them, so I'll just say I bought them all today. And these are this year's total:
March 30: 5 books for $3.75, average of $.75 each
June 28: 4 books for $65.18 average of $16.30 each
Totals: 9 books for $68.93, average of 13.79 each

Seen on today's walk: my hanky. I didn't wear it, but I carried it along. And near the end of my walk, I actually stopped to talk to someone, so I held the hanky up over my mouth and nose while we talked.

Bottom: June 2020, when tRump (impeached) cowered in the bunker as Americans protested police brutality and tRump (impeached)'s lack of repsonse to it, tRump (impeached) turned all the lights on the White House out, leaving the building in darkness.
Seems like a PERFECT metaphor for both Obama and tRump (impeached)'s presidencies...and an apt comparison between them

Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection
Today we're going back 40 years to June of 1980, and Batman #324.
I remember nothing about this issue, other than I owned it. At this point, I was collecting a few titles (Justice League, Teen Titans, X-men, Legion) but they were group titles which I preferred. I get a single hero title if the cover interested me, and I remember seeing this one on the spinner rack, and what was happening peeked my interest, and I bought it.
