Undress me, will I look like a fool (Part 207)...

On March 16, 2006, I posted my first ever HNT. I kept up with it over the ensuing 4 years before finally decided to go out gracefully. Also, I'd kinda run outta ideas of what body parts to take photos of and in what situations.

At any rate, now, almost 5 years to the day that I posted my first HNT, I thought I'd do an anniversary HNT post. Still not having many ideas, I just decided to do an homage to my first every HNT post. So, here is my left leg, covered by the green mesh of a laundry bag, first on March 16, 2006 and second on March 17, 2011.

What really strikes me about all this is that I still have that same damn laundry bag.

Undress me, will I look like a fool (Part 206)...

I'm back again with...

I got an email from OS earlier this week. He mentioned that this Thursday was the 5th Year Anniversary of Half Nekkid Thursday. And since I was a slavishly regular participant in HNT for 4 years, how could I not play along?

Os said that in honor of the anniversary, we were supposed to re-enact our first HNT. Not difficult for me at all. It's the same bed, same mesh bag, same leg and foot, although there are different sheets.

Original, March 16, 2006:

Current, May 20, 2010:

And I've never been more glad of my modesty in the first HNT, ya know?

Undress me, will I look like a fool (Part 205)...

Once more, it's time for...

Let me tell you a story. I started the Palace in the summer of 2005. Over the ensuing months, I'd visit certain blogs, and I discovered this thing call Half Nekkid Thursdays (HNT). Seeing some of the photos put up, I knew I could never do it. After thinking about it, I decided, yeah I could do it. At least once. Maybe twice. Certainly not for long. I mean, I knew I'd never show the 'Full Monty' and really, how many photos could one take of oneself or one's various body parts? And so, March 16, 2006, I had my first HNT, with the following photo:

Fast forward 4 years to today, March 18, 2010. In that ensuing time, to my recollection, I have never missed an HNT. Oh, there's been weeks when, due to illness, vacation, computer problems, whatever, I didn't post. But the following week, I always posted two HNT'S to make up for the missed week.

I've posted countless HNT shots of my feet, legs, hands, arms, shoulders, goatee, hair, head, smile, and even three shots of my ass (the less said about those photos, the better). I've posted HNT photos from every room of my old apartment, from within my car while it was moving, from several places in my new house, while at work, from Toronto, from Washington DC, from New York City, while walking in blizzards and while sitting on beaches. I've posted HNT photo series's of "My Morning Rituals", "Me In Various Bathroom Mirrors" and "My Wacky Underwear". I've posted HNT photos with my friend's children, in tuxedos, on the toilet, while doing dishes, while eating, with cousins while playing games, while voting, in the shower and at the doctor's office. I've posted HNT photos with mom's dog Angel, a dual HNT with Susie and her housecoat, and several with my boyfriend at the time, Freddie. I can remember many Wednesday nights staying up until 12:01 am EST so I could get my comment on there early that 'I was up!', and then racing home from work in the afternoon and spending a good hour or so going through all the comments posted and leaving comments on quite a few blogs about their HNT's.

However, as of late, I've been having an extreme lack of inspiration and motivation to post HNT photos. So, as they say, all good things must come to an end. And I've decided this, almost 4 years to the day since my first one, will be my final regular HNT post.

I will still post occasionally, perhaps make it a monthly instead of weekly thing, or maybe only post on holidays or such. Should I hear of a HNT reunion kind of thing, or old-timers thing, I will certainly get something together then. But four years of Half Nekkid narcissism is enough for me.

I want to thank OS for all he's done. If he's not the father of HNT, he's certainly it's heart and soul. And best of luck on your health issues. I'm in roughly the same boat as you, I know what a challenge that can be. And over the years, I met many HNT friends, and there's no way I could possibly mention them all. So, I'll just mention three: 13 Messages, TUG, you guys I've been visiting through HNT for, it seems, forever. Keep up the great photos! And Crimson, you were here when I started posting, and you always had a black and white shot with something colored in red: your hair, fingernails, a rose, your corset, etc. And they were such erotic photos. Man, they even got a rise out of an old guy boy like me. I don't where you are Crimson, but may your red never fade

And so, after all this babbling, let's get on with the purpose of this whole thing: the HNT photo! My first one consisted of my left leg wrapped in the green mesh of a laundry bag laying on my bed. I thought it appropriate to have my last one be my RIGHT leg wrapped in the green mesh of that same laundry bag laying on my bed.

Kinda like bookends, ya know?

And so until the next time inspiration hits, keep on HNT-ing everyone! I'll be watching even if I'm not participating.

This week, I'm finally coming out of the funk I've been in since...well, basically the whole month of February. How can I demonstrate here on my blog? This week's HNT illustrates it well, methinks.

Once more it's time for...

Last week, due to computer issues, I once again didn't have an HNT to put up. So this week, I'll again do two in one. And since I didn't really have a whole lot of time, what with being busy, or motivation, what with being phlegmy and sick, I just went really simple these two weeks: my hands. Both front...

And back!

Undress me, will I look like a fool (Part 199 & 200)...

Once more it's time for...

Okay, last week, i had no time and no inspiration for an HNT. So this week I give you two HNT's. I had plenty of time (what with being snowed in 5 of the last 6 days), but still very little imagination.

However, today, on a trip to a local store in the second blizzard, I took these two pics that I'll use for HNT.

Firstly, as I approached the store, there were mounds of snow piled up around the edges of the parking lot so high, some were several feet taller than my six foot one inch height. So I took the following photo:

Unfortunately, I didn't really get the mound of snow in it. But if you look to the left of me, you can see the beginning of the mound of snow. It extends behind my huge noggin...sorry it's blocked. Oh, and yeah, you can see just how happy I am with the second more than a foot of snow in a week.

And then on the way home, I snapped this one:

I'm wearing boots on my feet. Those boots are entirely covered in snow, as well as several inches of my pants leg.

I'm sorry this is all I got for my 200th HNT post. Hopefully I'll have a more celebratory photo for the 300th HNT post.

Undress me, will I look like a fool (Parts 197 & 198)...

Last Wednesday, I was sick and feeling like crap last week, so I didn't have the motivation nor inclination to get an HNT then. So this week I'm doing two, one for last week and one for this week.

And they're kinda the same thing. I was shopping in Wal-Mart (don't judge), and I noticed these hanging on a rack. They screamed my name, demanding that I buy them. I was a bit unsure because, well, they weren't really...'me'. And one of them wasn't in my size. But in the end, I knew it was futile to resist them, as I knew I'd have to have them. So here we go, me and my recent purchases:

The Superman ones are the ones a size too small, hence the....larger appearance there. Less fabric means larger package...and more discomfort. Oh, the lenghts we'll go to for our superhero undies.

Well, kids, I think it's time to show you one of my favorite Christmas gifts of last year. A Local Celebrity, Mr. David ParisPeking got this for me.

It is, in fact, a Snuggie. But if one focused on just the lameness of the Snuggie itself, one would miss what makes this gift so awesome. If one looks closely, one can see it is a Snuggie made of DC Comics Superhero material!!!

Yep, there's Superman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Shazam, and even Justice League of America crest as well!!! The sheer coolness of the material far outweighs any shame one feels in wearing (or even owning) a Snuggie!

Since so many people were so concerned about the state of my underwear in last week's post ("BROKEN" is what one commenter said), I decided I'd better show that not ALL my undies are like that.

And I don't just have boxerbriefs. I originally tried the photo with boxers on...but the legs were a bit wide and would reveal things better left unseen on the Palace. And before anyone asks, there was NO stuffing of anything anywhere involved in this photo.

Once more it's time for...

And once more, Os has given us a theme: Our favorite HNT of the year. What I've done in the past is just taken the HNT I posted that got the most comments and made that my favorite. And I'm doing so this year again. And this year's comes from back in the summer when I was doing a "Polt's Undies" series on HNT. This one got 15 comments, more than any other HNT of the year...which is, frankly, rather upsetting.

I mean, of ALL the HNT's I posted, the one with me wearing ratty, holey, old underwear is the one that gets the most comments??? Does that seem wrong to anyone else as well? I'm not sure if it's indicitive me needing better HNT posting, better commenters, or more old, falling apart underwear?

Undress me, will I look like a fool (Part 193)...

Once more it's time for...

Well, again Os gave us a theme: We're to pick three HNT's we don't know very well and give them each a Christmas gift, anything we think is appropriate for them. I'm having trouble with this one this year. Honestly, since the move into the new house and the hecticness that's ensued, I've not really been following other's HNT's very much. I put mine up each week, but I rarely check other people's much anymore. I intend on correcting that starting in the new year, but that's in the future. But I'll do what I can.

From underneath my first Santa hat....

For the great and wonderful Os himself, I pull out prefect health. I would make your diabetes and all the related issues just vanish away. *POOF* Oh, if only it were that easy, being a diabetic myself, I know it's not, but this is a Christmas Wish, not reality, so I give you that anyway.

From underneath my second Santa hat....

All the other HNTers, I pull out an endless amount of creative, fun and intertesting ideas for HNT. I know what it's like to see it's 10:00 Wednesday night and have absolutely no idea what to do for HNT. I imagine most of us have had that happen at one time or another. This wish would prevent that from happen, cause we'd all be overflowing with wonderful HNT ideas.

And from underneath my third Santa hat....

Well, this one's selfish, it's for me. I just want the Dallas Cowboys to win a playoff game this year. I'm not asking for a Super Bowl ring, I'm just asking for a freakin' win in the playoffs. They can lose the next week, that's fine, but just one single stinking win. I mean it's been 13 years, I'm ready.

Okay, well to see what other HNTers wishes were, click http://osbasso.blogspot.com/. And everyone have a happy, safe and fun Christmas!

Now I know, as per every year, Os has given us theme's for the next three weeks. And I also know that next week is the Christmas Tree HNT. However, this year I found an adorable little purple colored LCD tree that I so wanted to include in an HNT, and I thought, why not do that right now? I just had to think of a way to make it an HNT. And after a moment much thought, I got a brainstorm. And this is the result:

I am mildly upset, though, that such a miniature tree was enough to cover.....everything it covered.

Once more, kids, it's time for...

A few weeks ago, I was in Wal-Mart (don't judge) and I was walking by the men's 'fashions' section when something caught my eye. Well, actually, it jumped off the rack, threw itself at me, wrapped itself around me tightly and screamed in my ears "BUY ME! Buy me NOW! You NEED me!" (kinda like most of the guys I met in New York last month...but I digress...)

And so I did.

It a pair of pajama pants made out of Justice League Of Americe material! Well, 5/7th of the JLA's founding members at any rate. It has Superman (natch!), Batman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and the Flash on it. No Wonder Woman or Martian Manhunter to be seen. I suppose, since this is supposed to be worn by men, they didn't want to put a woman on it, and since it's supposed to be worn by men who shop at Wal-Mart, they didn't want to put a green skinned alien on it. We all know how those men that shop at Wal-Mart feel about illegal immigrants. Myself excepted, of course. Cause I don't really shop at Wal-Mart. Hardly at all. Not much. Look it's my story and I can tell it any way I want to.
