So, Blogger changed the way one colors text now and basically fucked everything up. 

Again. 

Blogger took something that was easy: type what your want, then highlight the print, click on the color button, click your color and BOOM, the print is that color. 

NOW.....

Now, before even you start typing, you need to click the color button, and then as you type it's that color.  But to change to color, even back to black, you need to click the color button and change it.  Black is not the default color anymore.

I'm so used to just typed and then color them afterwards.  No more.  And changing through a bunch of colors is gonna be a royal pain now.  

But that's Blogger sometimes....royal pain.

So, Blogger has now put an additional 5 posts (most from 2012 or before) with warnings, making readers click through and extra link, due to community guideline violations. 

I've seen them all and they all contain links to webpages that I can understand why they might be questionable....sorta.  But I'm not going to list them here, because of course, that would get a warning put on THIS post too. *sigh*

there is ONE exception.  There was a Superman Sundays post the had a pic of of a cute guy in a red Superman jacket.  The jacket was open and he had no shirt on underneath.  However, he showed nothing but his chest peeking out, nothing from the waist down.  But they "unpublished" that one in its entirety.  They said I had to change the offensive content and then I could resubmit.  I didn't SEE any offensive content, but I deleted the pic and left a sentence kinda like this one here.  I'll see if that can pass their new oversight.

I just wonder, is an updated algorithm doing this?  Or is this someone going back through my blog and flagging things they find offensive?  I kinda thought it was the latter, but if it was someone with an agenda, they'd certainly be hitting a lot more posts than just ones with website links.  So, I don't know?

Anyway, I guess this is the new Blogger.

 And now the post about how 15 of my more than ten year old posts have been flagged.....had been flagged itself!  Almost as soon as it was posted!  What the hell?

You should be able to read it, you just have to click through an additional warning screen!

So you have to click through a warning screen to get to the blog and then a second warning screen for some 'objectionable' post?

 So I was progressing through my daily updates all happy and hunky and dorry too, then all of sudden, Blogger decided to become a doughnozzle and not allow me to add any photos.  No matter how I tried. 

Soooooo, I'm done with posts for tonight.  Assuming that the Blogger crew (if there IS such a thing and if they care about issues their users have) fixes things overnight, I'll post the remainder of tonight's posts tomorrow.

Well every since yesterday, Blogger's been on the rag again. I can't upload pics, for whatever reason.  *SIGH*  I posted my situation on the message board, hopefully someone has a solution.  Either that or Blogger will just get it fixed on their own.  I mean, everything worked fine until yesterday.  When it didn't.

There is another way to get pictures on....but that's basically one at a time, and not near as easy as the usual way.  So I'll be posting on here hit or miss, until it's fixed.  Who knows when that may be?

So it looks like, since many of us long time Blogger blog owners (going on ten years at the Palace) complained a lot to Blogger and pointed out just what a douchebag move their policy change was, and lo and behold....THEY LISTENED?

Who knew corporate America could possibly be responsive to its customers?  At least in this one instance....

So you can totally disregard the post immediately below this one.  I WON'T need your email addresses, because, even though Blogger apparently has asshats in it's front office who came up with this asinine idea in the first place, the policy will remain the same.

Now that THAT'S over....THANK GOD.....back to your regularly scheduled Palace posts.

Hey kids, Uncle Polt here.  There's more new posts below this one, if you've already read this, just scroll down to them.

I re-read the email Blogger send me about their new asinine policy changes.  I don't think they're going to 'delete' questionable blogs, like possibly the Palace.  What they'd do, if they find a questionable one, is make it private, accessible to the blog's owner (moi) and anyone he gives the right to to view it.

SO, I think what needs to happen is, if you want to make sure you can see the Palace after Blogger implements their new asshat policy, I'll need from you the email address you use to log into Blogger.  Ya know, that one you use to write to your own Blogger blog, or the one your use to leave a comment on the Palace.

And for those two or three of you regular anonymous visitors (and you KNOW who you are), you should create a profile or something in Blogger itself.  It's pretty simple to do, and all you need is an email address (that you'll give to me) and a password (that you won't).

I believe everyone who regularly reads the Palace is my friend on Facebook.  So you guys can just message me there with your email address.  And that'll make sure I have it and it stays private.  

And make sure do all this before March 23rd, cause that's when the new idiotic policy takes affect.

Someone book me a room (Part 54)...

Chapter 2, Page 23...

This morning I had my first doctor's appointment with my new doctor.  The results were better although not great...as was my opinion of the doctor himself (more about this can be read in a post below).  On the way to the doctor's, I got a text from Derick about stopping by.  So when the visit was over, I headed over to Derick's for some bedtimesexxyfun!  Yay!

Afterwards, I did some grocery shopping and then came home. I did a load of clothes, had lunch, read a bit and played around on the computer (finding out about Blogger's new douchebag policy....which you can read more about on another post below).  I even took a very short nap.

After I ate supper, I paid all the bills for next month, took them to the Post Office, and then went to Hallmark to get all my cards for next month as well.   And then since I was in the same strip mall, I just went up to Liberty Tax and made my appointment with Bonnie for Friday after work.  I love Bonnie, she's great.  Not only as a tax preparer but as a person too!  And since it was right there too, I did a bit of shopping at the Dollar Store.

I came home, putzed around the computer a bit more and then just went up to bed, to read some and then to bed.
