So this pain medication, it's....disorientating. I took one of them, and the penicillin, last night about 10ish. about 4am, I woke up with extreme pain again. I had forgotten to bring the bottle of pills upstairs, so I just went to the bathroom and took 4 Advil. I remember doing all this VERY clearly.
Then, about 8am, I woke up to the pain again, but this time I came downstairs, took a pain pill and the penicillin and then went back to bed. Or at least I THOUGHT I'd done this. because when I finally got up and out of bed about 1045, I wasn't sure if I had actually done that, or just thought I had. Or dreamed it. I vividly remember thinking to myself that I'm now on the 8-12-4 schedule and that should be easy to remember since that's the shifts at work. But then, I didn't actually remember physically getting up and coming downstairs. I honestly had no idea if I really did it or not.
Mom called a bit after that to see how i was doing, and she suggested I count the pain pills, that way I'd be sure how many I had taken. And I did so and found out I must have come down and taken the pills, although honest to God, I still now, as I type this, have no memory of either going up or down the stairs OR of being downstairs.
And all day so far, I've just been feeling.....disconnected. For myself. Which isn't the best way to describe the way I feel, but I dont really know what other words fits that description. Weird.
Also, today, mom went to the dentist for her appointment. She's having all her upper teeth pulled and given a denture. It's not what she really wanted, but her teeth have always been trouble for her, and she already had a plate and a bridge and who knows what else up there, so now, she's just got an upper denture. She stopped by my house less than an hour ago, right after she got finished. She wanted to know what they looked like, which honestly, is a silly thing to ask me, as I'm not sure I'm in best of minds to give an answer. But the teeth looked okay to me. She wasn't smiling right, like she normally does, but then she had 8 shots of novocaine and her upper lip was still totally numb, so that explains that.
All day so far (it's only like 330) I've sat on the couch and wandered around online. I watched several successive episodes of American Dad, but I dont recall how many. I tried to read, but I couldn't focus. I mean, I COULD read the words, but I was having issues concentrating in what they were saying, what the book tells me. If that makes sense. I dont plan on doing much more today at all.

Vision
Marvel Comic's Vision first appeared in The Avengers #57 in October 1968. The evil Ultron found the synthezoid body of the original human torch, modified it, and reanimated it naming it The Vision. Despite it's red skin, he gave it a costume of green with a yellow cape. He sent it to infiltrate The Avengers and destroy them from within. Instead, The Vision developed a conscience and joined the Avengers in defeating Ultron. He then served with the Avengers for many years.
The Vision, as a synthetic lifeform, had great strength and toughness. He could fly as well as change his density, from hard as diamond to intangibility.

Cats Are Evil!
This is what happens when you take your car in your car!

I live with abscess memory, with broken fingers.....
So....
I dont remember mentioning this stuff before, but if I have, well, forgive me. I know I mentioned all the tacos I ate last Wednesdays. What I dont think I mentioned is that while eating, I crunched down on something so hard, and so loud, I was sure I cracked the crown on my upper tooth. But feeling around with my tongue I see there's nothing wrong with the crown. So I go on eating.
When I woke up Thursday morning, there was pain in that tooth, and into my upper jaw. No big deal, I figured, I just bruised it. It'll hurt a lil bit and then go away. I'll just handle it with Advil. And I did. Over the weekend, the pain continued, no getting worse, but no getting better.
Last night, while sleeping, I woke up with horrible pain. So about 6am, I got up, went to the bathroom and took some Advil. When I woke up this morning, then about 1000, I didn't have any pain whatsoever. But I still took the Advil again. So I thought, hey, it must be going away! About time.
But then, right after lunch, the pain started. And got worse, and worse and worse, even than what it had been the day before. And this despite the Advil. And so, about 2PM, I walked over to my dentist's office (it's diagonally across the stree from my front door), spoke to the receptionist to see if they could fit me in, to check if it IS an abscess. She says they'll call me in about 20 minutes.
So, an hour and 15 minutes later, I called back to see, and was told if I could get there at 430, they could fit me in. I got there a bit BEFORE 430, and I didn't even have to go back into one of the chairs. They looked at me through the reception window, and as I was explaining what had happened, they said, "Oh yeah, that's an abscess. And you're swollen too." So they gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and a painkiller. I got them filled at CVS and took one of each as soon as I got home.
In the time since, the pain had gone away, but I've gotten...loopy. I called in to take off tomorrow, cause I certainly cant' work with the pain, and dont think I should be AT work, or even drive to work, while taking the painkiller. Now I just have to wait for the antibiotic to do its job and kick the infection's ass!
But still, yeah, the pain before the painkiller....man that was terrible. Toothpain is THE worst pain.

About 830, StratCat showed up, as planned. We watching The Walking Dead 90 minute season finale together. I provided the Asti, she provided the cheese, bologna, wheat thins and pretzels. And we both enjoyed the finale, especially since Glenn didn't get killed, like we thought.
Following that, she went home, I was online for a bit more before I went to bed, read, and went to sleep.

As an infant, as were most members of the royal family, he was exposed to the Terrigan Mist. The Mist mutated him, giving him green scales and the ability to breath underwater. Someone book me a room (Part 86)...
Chapter 3, Page 28...
Saturday, work as work. Nothing out of the ordinary. After work, however, I went to the ParisPeking household. I had been invited there for supper and then to watch the last Hobbit movie.
The middle ParisPeking girl was off to a sleepover, so that just left 5 of us at the table. And the meal, was really really good. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, peas and cole slaw. Not Mama Polt quality, mind you, but very damn near it. See?
I also had some company prior to the meal: Missy the Jack Russel Terrier. She apparently doesn't like her photo taken, because I tried several shots, and she'd always look away before I could get the picture. But when she was laying on my lap, sleeping, I did manage to wake her up and quickly grab this pic:
She does look terrified or irritated, doesn't she? But surprisingly, this is the best photo I could get of her.
So after the delicious meal, we retired to The Mancave to watch the movie. A Local Celebrity, Mr. David ParisPeking felt the movie was a waste from the beginning, and had no problems saying so. And it turns out, he was all tuckered out and went to bed about an hour before the movie was over (mind you, this was about 7:30 in the evening.....he's worse than I am!). But MRS. ALCMDPP and I watched it all the way to the end.
My thoughts? Overdone. Overlong. Stretched out WAY too much. It had that great look and feel to it that all the Peter Jackson Hobbit/LOTR movies have to them. But frankly, I felt like I was watching a repeat of the last LOTR movies: A place under siege, the city outside under attack, and wave and wave of new and different armies keep entering the battle. All the while, Gandalf talks to and explains things to a Halfling. But still, overall, I enjoyed it..
And then I came home, putzed around online, and then went to bed about 1030-ish, I think.

Chapter 3, Page 27...
It's late and I'm tired, so let's just get this done. Friday, I got to work, work was no problem. I came home opened Tam's gift and laughed and laughed. I sat around and didn't do much at all. Then I paid the bills for the month (including some local taxes from last year, and the local taxes for the 1st Quarter of this year). And I decided, since I needed some exercise, I walked them over to the Post Office. Even though it was chilly and breezy, I walked close to 45 minutes and went a bit over 2 miles. I don't have the exact numbers, because the app I use decided to go on the rag during my walk. I think I need a new app. Anyway, following that, I came home, went to bed and read.

She-Hulk
Marvel Comics' She-Hulk first appeared in Savage She-Hulk #1 in February 1980. Jennifer Walters was a lawyer and cousin of Bruce Banner, the Incredible Hulk. She was injured and needed an emergency blood transfusion, and she got it from her cousin. Not only did this save her life, but it also, when she was angry, turned her into a female version of The Hulk himself.
Jennifer, however, since she only had a blood transfusion, was better able to control herself as She-Hulk and not go insane with anger as her cousin did. She-Hulk has been a member of The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, and the Defenders.
Like her cousin, She-Hulk has superhuman strength and toughness.

Gift wrapped, this town, this chance...
SO....
I get home from work today and checked for the mail, like I always do. I had nothing that came through the mail slot, but I saw a package outside on the porch. I didn't remember ordered anything, but, eh, who knows? I order stuff all the time. I just got it and brought it in.
Anxiously, I unwrapped and opened the box. And started laughing. There was no card attached, but the paper it was packed with was the "Kuwait Times" and the stuff inside was written in Arabic in places, so I figured it came from Tam!
And what WAS inside? ALL THIS:
My GOD, what a haul! I laughed and laughed. If you can see in the upper left corner, a small bottle containing Strawberry Juice. And that's when I remembered we had chatted about this and how I told her to send me some. And when she said she would, I laughed it off. But I shouldn't have, obviously. And over on the right, in the middle...that's a little Superman! He's an angry faced Superman, without a cape, but I guess that's what you get for Superman in the Middle East!
Not sure how much of all that I could or should eat, what with my diabeeeeetus and all. But I think I've got something planned for it all....more on that later.
For now, Thanks Tam! You ROCK!

She worked alongside the X-Men occasionally, never becoming an active member. She dated and in fact was engaged to the brother of Cyclops, Havok. She later discovered what she always expected: the she was the daughter of Magneto. She wore a green costume and cape.
Polaris could control magnetism, enabling her to fly and to have mastery over metallic objects.

Chapter 3, Page 25...
Wednesday I got to work without issue. It was a very productive day, in that I got many things done that needed to be done.
Derick had contacted me and asked me to borrow something, so I planned to go there after work. Which I did. And while I was there, he wanted to have some bedtimesexxyfun. But we didn't. He's started 'seeing' someone even though they've not 'solidified' their 'relationship'. Or something like that. Anyway, the last time we played, afterwards, he felt quite guilty. So yesterday, even though he wanted to, hell even though we BOTH wanted to, we didn't. I told him I didn't want him to feel guilty afterwards. So we didn't.
After this, I stopped at Taco Bell. They had this Grande Meal: ten tacos for a special price. So I thought I'd get that, eat 5 or so that night and the remaining ones the night before. Once home, I started eating them while reading a Time magazine. I opened them, put the Hot Sauce on and ate it and then repeat. And the next thing I know....I've only two left. So I thought, "Well might as well just finish them off" and I did. And then I just laid on the couch, watched some old Doctor Who (starring the Third Doctor) on Netflix Streaming, read and went to bed.

And right around the time I turned out the light, my stomach started rumbling. Ten Taco Bell tacos was definitely NOT a good idea. I was up on the toilet four time overnight. And my stomach continued to rumble and groan and make all kinda noises it's really not supposed to.
After the last time, sometime after 6AM, I called in to work and took the day off. I slept fitfully until about 10AM. My day consisted of sitting on the couch, reading, napping, drinking Pepto and tea. I did watch another Third Doctor Who series: The Three Doctors. I did not shower all day. And even though it's just now 7 PM, and even though I've done all day (and dammit, it was sunny and over 70 degrees most of the day!), I'll probably be going up to bed hear before too much longer. Just very tired.

Green Super Hero History Month
Moondragon
Marvel Comics' Moondragon first appeared in Daredevil #105 in November 1973. Heather Douglas and her parents were in a car and witnessed the arrival of Thanos' spaceship on earth. Thanos wanted no witnesses so he blew up the car, killing her parents and throwing her aside. She was found by Thanos' father, Mentor, who took her to their homeworld, Titan, and had her raised by the monks there.
Under the monks' training, her body reached its peak physical condition, becoming a great marital artist in the process. The monks also helped her access her psionic potential.
Upon her return to earth, she joined the Avengers and Defenders for a short time. She returned to outer space working with many heroes there against Thanos. She keeps her head shaved, as the monks do, and has always worn a uniform, primarily green in color.
IN addition having great marital arts skills, and being at peak physical potential, Moondragon is an extremely powerful telepath and a low level teleknetic.
