I"ve got books lining my shelves, day and night....

So I did some book buying this weekend.

Friday, for whatever reason, I was on Amazon and found these four books:

Clue, The Graphic Novel, by Paul Allor

Doctor Who: The Star Beast, by Gary Russell

Doctor Who: Wild Blue Yonder, by Mark Morris

Doctor Who: The Giggle, by James Goss

(the three Who books are novelizations of the 60th Anniversary Specials from last year)

Yearly totals:

Jan 29: 5 books for $62.17, average of $12.43 per book

Apr 2: 3 books for $11.63, average of $3.88 per book

Totals: 8 books for $73.80, average of $9.23 per book

Apr 10: 2 books for $31.10, average of $15.55 per book

Totals: 10 books for $104.90, average of $10.49 per book

Apr 26: 4 books for $59.13, average of $14.78 per book

Totals: 14 books for $164.03, average of $11.72 per book

Of these 14 books, 12 are actual books, 2 is a graphic novel

Then, on Saturday, I was on another site, and found another book I wanted:

I'm just gonna lay all this out here, make of it what you will.

Let's see, here we have the last three Democratic presidents. Twenty years in the Oval Office (so far) combined. Never once did they feel a need to claim Presidential Immunity. Not a single one of them has been found guilty, more than once, for fraud. All three of them, over 5 different elections (so far) received more votes, both actual votes from voters and from the Electoral College, than their opponents. None of them, as far as we know, paid hush money to a porn star while his wife was pregnant. None of them are divorced. When running for re-election all three of their Vice Presidents endorsed them for President again. Altogether, there are 2 criminal indictments against people in their Administrations, none against any of them personally, and certainly not over 200 criminal indictments of people in their Administrations or themselves.

Walks 2024

Today, I walked 1.98 miles in 40 minutes.

Seen on today's walk: A lil bird's egg just sitting on the sidewalk. Didn't see any nests or birds anywhere nearby. Presumably, the egg is unfertilized, or the bird inside is dead. But I just have to wonder where it came from.
