So, I asked you which of those five award winning movies have I seen.    Most of you chose Forrest Gump.  Some of you chose Rocky.  None of you chose The Exorcist, The Godfather, or The Silence Of The Lambs.

None of you were correct.

The only movie of those 5 i have seen is, surprisingly, the Exorcist.

Several years back, when I was still in the apartment, I decided, around Halloween, that I wanted to finally see this.  Luckily, I decided this when my friend Chris was over hanging out.  He had seen it before and we watched it together.  Which was the ONLY way I was gonna see this movie: with someone else there.

Very disturbing, but very much worthy of the awards it earned.

So, the answer to Polt's Pop Quiz #51.  Three lies and one truth.

Despite being a voracious reader, I have never read "To Kill A Mockingbird".  But I hope to correct that this year, sometime, so THIS is the TRUTH.

I don't know how many times I've been in a taxicab, but I can count the following times:
-In Paris in 1984
-In Toronto ten-ish years ago going back to a hookup's house there
-In NYC with friends back in the 90's sometime
-In NYC last year with Tam, The Kiddlette, and john eliot.
This one's a lie.

Way back in the 70's, I took a trip to DC with my parents, and one of the things we did was go to the top of the Monument, by way of the elevator, NOT the stairs.  This one's a lie.

I LOVE scrambled eggs!  This one's a lie too.

It;s the end of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, so I'll answer the Thanksgiving Quiz now.  The correct answer was C, I have never seen the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Since I was a kid, I have slept in on Thanksgiving Day, got up in time to shower, get dressed and help get the car packed up and off we go to the Thanksgiving reunion dinner (which we eat at lunchtime).  I've never had any time to sit and watch a parade with a bunch of balloons and lip syncing musical acts.  And since I've done it before, I had absolutely zero interest in watching it now.

So good for you VUBOQ and Michelle M., you got it right.  Tam, I have played touch football on many occasions while at the Thanksgiving reunion dinner, but I've never broken anything while playing it.  Might have ripped my pants one year, but that's a whole other thing....
