Today, Michelle and I went to Sherperdstown WV to eat a restaurant there.  Said restaurant, though, we full, had a waiting list, and the a/c didn't really seem to be working well.  So we decided to take a walk through town (it's very small) and check out other places to eat.  

We walked .54 miles in 16 minutes.

(but since it was hotter than Satan's taint, and more humid as well, we didn't walk long or far, and ended up going back to Boonsboro to eat).

Seen on today's walk: The Sheperdstown Opera House.

It's an independent movie theater now, but I love this building.  It's narrow, it's taller than surrounding buildings, the arches, the seemingly out of place little part that juts out on the second floor....very unique and distinctive design!

Seen on tonight's walk:  The sign on an electrical relay station says, "Violators will be prosecuted."  I think it would be a more effective deterrent if it said, "Violators will be electrocuted."

Today I walked 1.49 miles in 30 minutes.

It wasn't a long walk because it's so hot and humid today. However, today is the 17th walk I've taken the month of June!  I walked every even number day except the 18th, and two odd numbered days too.  I hope I can keep this up. 

(oh and the rest of the year, January through May, I only walked 9 times total).

This morning, had some things to mail, so I walked to the Post Office, then back to Rutters for coffee and then back home.  I walked 1.31 miles in 27 minutes.

Yesterday, I walked 2.26 miles in 42 minutes, although not all at once.

There were having a Shakespeare In The Park thing out at Refrew.  So Michelle came to my house, I drove us a couple blocks to the Park and left the car there.  And then we walked the trail behind the schools and over to Renfrew.  We watched A Comedy Of Errors, and then, two hours later, walked back to the car.

So above is the total time and distance, but it was not done all at once.
