Yesterday (I forgot to post this last night), when I got home from work, I paid a few bills and then walked to the Post Office to mail them.  After that, I walked to the Waynesburger down Main Street.  It was dusk, and the storefronts were lit up for Christmas, as was the Christmas tree, a very pretty walk.  At the Waynesburger, I got a bowl of chili to go.  And what goes best with chili?   A grilled cheese sandwich, with a slice of ham inside.  But I had no ham, cheese slices, or even bread at home.  So I walked to Rutters and ordered a grilled ham and cheese.  And then I came home and ate it.

But in all, I walked 1.35 miles in 27 minutes.

Today I walked 1.69 miles in 32 minutes.

I paid some bills in the afternoon, and decided to just walk them to the Post Office, and then went a lil further.  It was a beautiful, if a bit cool, day!

Today, in Shepardstown WV, I walked 1.29 miles in 24 minutes.

So that first area on top, where I wandered?  That's the bookstore and the larger wandering area is the cafe (see the post immediately below).

Today, before football, I had some things to mail, so I walked to the Post Office, mailed them, and walked home.  I walked 1.32 miles in 26 minutes.

Today, mom had her brothers, her sister, their spouses and me out for supper.  She made several hog maws.  I ate WAY too much....way too many potatoes, too many carbs.  So I decided to just take a walk out there.   But it was drizzling.  So I got her purple umbrella to use.  And then when I went to turn on my walking app, it didn't work. I had updated my phone last night, and the IOS 11 isn't compatible with the walking app.  The app needs updated.  So, yeah, I couldn't track it on my phone.  But below is the area I walked:

Today, since I needed eggs and celery, I decided again to walk to that grocery store not too far away.  My app says I walked 1.94 miles in 36 minutes....but there's no way that's accurate.  And once again, my app went a lil loopy when I was in the store itself.  But anyway, here's where I walked:

This afternoon, about 12:30 I realized I needed some things from the grocery store, but I also needed to walk.  So, instead of going to Martin's the store I usually go to, I walked to Save-A-Lot.  According to my app, I walked 2.04 miles.....but I don't believe it was anywhere near that far.  The app doesn't do a great job indoors, and I think it went a lil cuckoo while I was in there and had me moving all OVER the store in very fast fashion.    I'll list the amounts the app said, but I don't believe it's accurate.

Today I walked 2.04 miles in 37 minutes.

I left work and hadn't left Hagerstown yet, when I thought I'd take a walk, but was bored with walking around Waynesboro.  So I parked in a nice neighborhood and took my walk.  It was a beautiful day and a great walk!

Although I AM very glad to see they're fixing up this building. It was a beautiful old apartment building allowed to fall into such bad disrepair it was condemned.  But someone bought it and is repairing it!

Today I walked 2.81 miles in 55 minutes!

Actually what happened was I walked to Rutters, got some supper, and then walked to the Park where I ate it while I read my book.  When I had finished eating, I walked to the Post Office and mailed some things and then just continued on my walk.  I wasn't walking as fast as I usually do, because it was a beautiful, gorgeous day!  Only in the 70s, a cool breeze, no humidity....this is the way I remember summers being as I was growing up.  Augusts never used to be 90 degrees and humid, like they are now....but dont worry, climate change is just a Chinese Hoax....tRump says so.
