Was never much into this wen it aired (maybe cause I was like 11 or 12), but a few years later (when I was like 14 or 15) it was in reruns on a local tv station in the afternoons and I watched it after school and fell in love!  It's a hilarious show!  One of the best ensemble cast shows ever.

It ran from November 1976 to March 1977.  Disco music, those crazy fashions, dancing, dancing girls, water routines ala Ester Williams, singing, Rip Taylor as the neighbor, and of course, Fake Jan!    

It's guest cast over the episodes included: Tony Randall, Donny and Marie Osmond,  Lee Majors, Farrah Fawcett, Milton Berle, Tina Turner, Vincent Price, Charo, Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, Rich Little, Redd Foxx, Rick Dees, and the cast from the sitcom What's Happening?!   

Is there ANY show this side of Love Boat with a more varied, outlandish, and head-scratchingly 70's guest cast than that?  And all in just NINE episodes!  Damn the 70s were something else. 

Course, the omnipresent drugs helped a lot I bet.
