Anniversary Avengers
Today we have the 29th Avengers to join: Tigra. She was a "regular" human named Greer Nelson. She used cat-themed gadgets to fight crime, going by the imaginative name of The Cat! She later mutated into the furry clawed superheroine named Tigra: claws, agile, strong, even feral. When the Avengers had an open audition for members, she was chosen. Unfortunately, she was written as basically a cat in heat, coming on almost all the male members and not contributing anything, really. After about a year, she left the team on her own. She later helped found the Avengers West Coast team in Los Angeles. She had a much longer run with that team, and was written much better and not like a lusty whore. And she did well with that team.
She has not been seen yet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although supposedly there was a character in the Hawkeye mini-series who was a friend of Hawkeye Kate, named Greer....so who know?
