So as I mentioned earlier, I've had this rash under my arm since like the middle of the month.  I was using the benedryl and the hydracortizone cream. 

Wednesday night, after I showered and before I went to bed, I went to put the cream on my armpit and I saw two of the....marks, had like a pus filled head on them like a pimple.  Not only is that disgusting, but it reminded me of one of the two times I had MRSA. And that's something that I am NOT going to fool around with.

So Thursday morning, I called in late to work and went to the Urgent Care here in town.  I didn't have to wait long before the doctor there saw me, and she told me it wasn't bacterial, so I didn't have to worry about MRSA.  She said it was a yeast infection.

W.T.F.??????

How do you get a yeast infection in your freakin' armpit?????

But anyway, now that we know what it is, she prescribed me a cream...which of course my insurance didn't cover.  But it was only $39, but still....

So I've been using it the last few days, she said it could take 1-3 weeks to clear up, so hopefully that happens sooner rather than later.  But at least now, I'm treating it appropriately.
