Let's start a riot, if you feel so filthy.....
Today, 48 years ago, June 28th, 1969, the gays and lesbians at the Stonewall Inn in NYC had had enough of the harrassment by the cops. And so, when the cops tried to arrest some patrons, the others there just were NOT going to have it.
And they rioted. The first night of three. The Stonewall Riots!
And almost half a millennium later, it's a damn shame that we're still being harassed just for being who we are.
But we will fight on! We're never going back!
