Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection

Today we head back 21 years to August 1983, and Uncanny X-Men #172.

This issue is written by the X-Men's longtime scripter Chris Claremont and drawn during the all too short run of Paul Smith (just 10 issues). This issue takes place during the time right after Rogue joined, when the team went to Japan for Wolverine's marriage (which didn't happen), and I believe the next issue first showcases Storm's mohawk and leather phase. It's an amazing run of the series.
