Appreciate, then you can....ring my bell (Part 7)....

 Perez Appreciation Post

The Crisis On Infinite Earths, in 1985, totally revamped DC Comics.  It combined all their myriad alternate universes into one since universe. (in my opinion, it created WAY more problems than it solved, but I digress....)  It was written by Marv Wolfman and drawn by....the Maestro George Perez!

One of the things that happened, in merging all the universes together, is that many heroes (and villains) were killed...wiped out of existence.  Following the miniseries, there was primer of sorts published about the 12 issues.  The cover of that is below, drawn by Perez himself, and, as a master of crowd scenes, it encompasses all the major heroes killed in the Crisis.

Nobody, but nobody, does group scenes like Perez!

I'm going to attempt to list all of these.  First, at the bottom, in shadow in the middle we have the face of the Monitor. And standing on the mountain top looking up we have the three survivors or destroyed worlds, Harbinger (previous Earth-1), Pariah (unknown Earth), Lady Quark (Earth-6)

top row: Kole (Earth-1), Superboy (Earth-Prime), Dove I (E-1), unknown character, 4 members of Sgt Rocks Easy Company (E-1, WWII era), Kid Psycho (E-1, 1000 yrs in the future), Lord Volt (E-6), Nighthawk (E-1, Wild West era), another member of Easy Company, Prince Ra-Man (E-1), Princess Liana (E-6)
Middle Row: Robin I (E-2), Alexander Luthor (E-3), Lex Luthor (E-3), Lois Lane (E-3), Superman I (E-2), Lois Lane (E-2), Wonder Woman (E-2), Green Arrow (E-2), Starman Prince Gavyn (E-1), unknown hero
Bottom row: Huntress I (E-2), Supergirl (E-1), The Flash II (E-1), Lori Lemarius (E-1) and Aquagirl (E-1)
