And Senate Republicans blocked it entirely. They didn't get their way on a totally unrelated bill, so they threw a hissy fit and threw sick veterans under the bus.
I don't get the thought process: we're pissed at Democrats so we're gonna deny sick vets money for the health care they need. Boy that'll show the Dems! We're owning the lib, bidly!
Course, to be fair, I don't get the thought process of Republicans much at all anyway.
