Still on the old computer....

The cleaning ladies were here for their first visit.  They arrived shortly after 1pm, they left about 4:10.  And they were not done.  They said they did what they could, but they'd like to come back to do the rest of it before they start on the monthly schedule.

And yes,my house was that messy, but both women (they're sisters) said they are OCD, and so everything has to be clean, neat and orderly.  Even though I didn't expect it, they cleaned the INSIDE of the fridge.  And reorganized it.  Just like they did some things on my counter.  And they said they hadn't even gotten INTO the cupboards yet.  Apparently, they're gonna clean them all out too.

That's not really what I expected.  But ya know, after living here 7 years, I think cleaning the cupboards (and the inside of the fridge) probably WAS a good idea.  But I'm gonna make sure they know, when they're on their once a month schedule, that's not necessary.  After this first time, initial cleaning, all I want them to do monthly is dust and vacuum and mop and clean the 'public areas'.  

But these ladies, DAMN do they clean.  Course, if they are truly OCD like they say, then I can understand why they clean, and why they do good at it.  We'll see how this all works out.
