Come join our party, not just anyone will do (Part 27)...

Well, well, well....how the mighty have fallen.  JEB! announced this evening, after a dismal showing in Iowa, New Hampshire and finally South Carolina, that he was dropping out of the race.

I say good riddance to bad rubbish.  He started his whole campaign under the assumption it would be a coronation, with the powers that be giving him all that money, and with his name value, and family, and connections, he just assumed he'd get the nomination.

I guess he totally underestimated how much of a curse the name "BUSH" still is in America, even among Republicans.  We still remember the total clusterfuck that WAS W's two terms in the Oval Office.  I say it'll have to be another ten-twelve years before Jeb's son, another George Bush will take a shot at the presidency.  By then, a decade or so more will have caused the nightmare of Bushie to fade in the minds of the public.  And THIS Bush is half Hispanic and speaks fluent Spanish, so maybe that'll help him overcome the black mark that is is last name.

I honestly thought JEB! would remain somewhat longer, if for no other reason that he had shittons of money left.  And I thought he'd wait at least until Florida.  But I suppose losing his own home state might have been too much of an embarrassment to him.

Anyway, here is the list:
