Superhero Anydays
So back in 1978, DC Comics put our this calendar of "disasters". What made it unique was the heroes were battling villains that weren't their usual enemies. And each of the months was drawn by, I think, a different artist. Anyway, let's go over these:
Cover: Supergirl, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and in the spaceship, Aquaman, Black Canary, Green Arrow and Hawkman all work together to save the Earth from some asteroid or something. Don't question how some members are able to survive in outer space without suits or anything, just roll with it.
January has Batman vs Dr. Light (an enemy of many different heroes)
February has the Flash and Kid Flash vs a member of their own Rogue's Gallery: Captain Cold and one of Batman's enemies: Mr. Freeze.
March: Green Arrow and Green Lantern vs Queen Bee (a JLA enemy)
April: Aquaman vs Weather Wizard (a Flash enemy)
May: Batgirl and Robin vs Poison Ive and The Floronic Man (enemies of Batman and The Atom)
June: The Metal Men vs Ocean Master (enemy of Aquaman)
Superman and Supergirl vs Brainiac (a Superman enemy) and Sinestero (a Green Lantern one)
Black Lightning vs Heatwave (a Flash enemy)
The Freedom Fighters vs someone called The Flamesplasher, who I've never heard of.
Hawkman and Hawkwoman and that Atom vs the Gentleman Ghost (one of the Hawk's enemies), the Matter Master (a Flash enemy) and Felix Faust (an enemy of the JLA)
Wonder Woman vs Quakemaster, who I think was just a generic villain with no nemesis
And the Legion Of Superheroes (members on this mission: Chameleon Boy, Shadow Lass, Brainiac 5, Cosmic Boy, Karate Kid, Princess Projectra, Colossal Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad and Sun Boy) vs Toyman (a Superman enemy) and all his little, deadly toys.
