Heroes Of Two Earths
Today's heroes are a bit of a stretch: Commander Steel (left) from Earth-2 and Steel (right) from Earth-1. Commander Steel was active during during WWII, being a member of the All-Star Squadron. He later somehow moved to Earth-1 and retired. There he married had at least one child, who had at least one child. Commander Steel in his 80s but still young and vigorous, came out of retirement to fight with other heroes against Eclipso, and was killed in the battle.
Steel was was the grandson of Commander Steel and from Earth-1 like his parents and grandmother. His parents were killed and he was raised by his grandfather. He later joined the "Detroit" version of the Justice League, and he was killed in their last battle before the team disbanded.
