But I'm in bed with the a/c and fan going possibly listening to the stereo, to drown out the sound. I've never liked fireworks, the booms scared me when I was a little kid. And I never got an appriecation for them. I've seen them before, occasionally, from my house or apartment balcony. But only twice have I ever gone TO the fireworks. It's no big deal for me.
While you guys are outside, in the dark, hot, sweaty, with crowds full of idiotic, potentially drunk and rowdy people, I'll be laying in the cool comfort of my bed. Reading.
