Today, January 10th is Houseplant Appreciation Day.

And so here we have my only houseplant: ZuZu the ZZ Plant. And I do appreciate her. I especially appreciate that she's still alive after four and a half months.

Today, January 6, is Take Down Your Christmas Tree Day. Not something I need to worry about as I've had mine down since Friday (Jan 3).

(this is where, in the doorway between my dining room and vestibule, the Christmas Tree stood from the Friday after Thanksgiving and the Friday after New Years)
