Tried to be a mess, tried t be the best (Part 6)...

Best Of...

The five previous times I did this, it was all music.  Today, we're doing movies.

There have been 13 Star Trek films: 6 with the original cast, 4 with the Next Generation cast, and 3 in the rebooted Kelvin universe.  Of these, clearly, this is THE best Star Trek film:

Star Trek: First Contact.

Yes, yes, I know, Wrath of Khan is a great movie.  And The Voyage Home is possibly my favorite (cause the humor works), but I think First Contact beats them all.

It's got everything: The Borg, Time Travel, important parts of Star Trek history, Zephram Cochrane, Vulcans meeting humans, the holodeck, Dixon Hill, "If you were any other man, I would kill you where you stand," Lt Commander Worf, Data's emotion chip, Alfre Woodard, a drunk Deanna Troi, and did I mention the Borg and time travel?

Star Trek: First Contct, The Best Star Trek film ever.
