I'm just gonna say this about all the pressure Biden's been getting to drop out.

Why is everyone overlooking the fact that any replacement will not have smooth sailing.  

1, Republicans have already said they'll sue.  That will be the story and not whatever the new candidate is trying to get out there. 

2. Republicans have piles and PILES of negative ads and talking points ready to go matter who it is, so the new candidate will get smeared as soon as the name is announced. 

3. The media is in the tank for tRump and they'll do everything they can to parrot the negative talking points and help bring the new candidate down.

4. There's talk of a mini-primary...what the fucking hell is that???  We HAD primaries, full fledged ones, all Spring.  And we Democrats voted in them.  And we voted for Biden/Harris.   I don't think there's even any provisions for  a 'mini-primary' in the DNC policy or rules. 

5. Don't forget the optics of a contested convention.  Yeah, the media is SALIVATING at the thought of that, but it's going to do nothing but turn off marginal voters and deepen slips in the party.   It'll be Harris supporters vs Newsome supporters vs Whitmer supporters vs who know who the hell supporters.  And there's no indication the losing supporters will vote for the winner.   I mean, if the party can not unite around a sitting president who's done a pretty damn good job under less than ideal circumstances, what makes anyone think they'll unite around  someone else. 

84% of Democratic Senators back Biden.  85% or more than 175 Democratic House members back Biden.  100% of Democratic governors back Biden.   But of course the media only talks about the small percentage who don't because a) they're in the tank for tRump and b) that want a story. 

See this race is boring.  We've known who the candidates were going to be since last summer.  And unlike tRump or Obama, Biden is not a gifted electrifying speech giver.  He's not flashy, he's got ZING.  He just a hard working government employee who spent the better part of 50 years getting things done, behind the scenes, in the trenches, doing the dirty work.  And that doesn't get clicks or reads.  So the media want something more exciting.  Plus, don't forget, they're in the bag for tRump. 

If you think things are bad now, just wait for the shitshow that's gonna result if Biden does step aside.  The little cuts the Democratic Party is giving itself is going to blow up into full on self throat slitting!

I have no issue with Democrats discussing things and talking about candidates.  I'm glad we can do that, it shows we're not in a cult like the Republicans.  But honest to God, if you're a Democrat and you are NOT talking about all the horrible things around  tRump and Vance and Project2024/Agenda 47 and how it will ravage this county, you are helping tRump get elected. 

It's really that simple.  All the time and effort spent on NOT attacking our enemies only helps them and hurts us.  Get your heads out of your asses, get your shoulder straight and get the fuck out there doing what you need to do to save American Democracy!  

Even day, every hour, every fucking minute spent talking about Biden by Democrats only increases the chances of a Republican win!
