SO....
Today, I got a call from the gastro doctor's office to reschedule my colonoscopy. We did that for March 31st. I have a new prep to pick up at CVS, probably tomorrow, as well as 2 pills, one to take before I start the prep to minimalize stomach upset and nausea. ........great........ And the second pill is to be taken when I'm done with the prep, or something.
But worse still, I was told this time, it's a two day liquid only diet instead of one. TWO DAYS! TWO! DAYS!!!!!
I damn near starved to death doing just a Sunday like that and now I have to do a Saturday AND Sunday! Arrrrgh.
On the plus side though...
I also had an appointment today, my every other year appointment with the urologist. An appointment that ever man of certain age has to go through. However, my test results were so good that I didn't need to have a rectal exam.
As a gay man, I'm not squeamish about things going in my butt like most straight guys are. But as a non-bottom gay man, I'm not really a fan of it either. Especially in a cold, antiseptic doctor's office. So not having to do it was something of a relief. But, due to my family history of prostate cancer, on both sides, and being a few years older, he wants to see me every year now. So, whoopee.
And then, after all this, and lunch, I was sitting around doing nothing, sometimes perusing Grindr, as one does, and I got a message there. A pretty hot, 24 year old Black guy messaged me and wanted to get together. And lo and behind, we made it happen. And over two hours later, after throwing the sofa and later the bed into disarray, and showering, and a lil bit of post bedtimesexxyfun chatting, he left.

And while I'm sated and very relaxed, my neck, shoulders and back are already starting to tighten up and get sore. And they're gonna be right painful tomorrow for sure.
But damn, it was worth it. Soooooo worth it.
