 Anniversary Avengers

Today as drawn by John Byrne, we have the next Avenger to join: She-Hulk.  Jennifer Walters is the cousin of Bruce Banner, the Incredible Hulk.  She needed an emergency blood transfusion and got one from him.  The Hulk's blood allowed her to transform into a Hulk-like heroine.  She's not as tall, or strong as the Hulk, although she IS taller than average and VERY strong. Unlike the Hulk, from the beginning she had her own mind and personality, she did not become mindless like the Hulk did. 

She was a member of the Avengers on and off for quite some time, taking one notable break when she joined the Fantastic Four when The Thing left.

She has not appeared in a Marvel movie yet, but she DID have her own miniseries on Disney+, starring Tatana Maslany as the heroine.
