I got knocked on my ass by a flu. I had to leave work after only being there and hour. I am achey ALL OVER, my head, my shoulders, my joints, hell, even my fingers. I actually did sleep for about three hours, but it was restless sleep.
This is why I didn't post anything today....and I'm not sure if I'll be able to post tomorrow.
I'll see ya all when I'm over this shit.

Hit me like a Mack....
So thanks to Hulu that I now get on Roku (and once more an additional thanks to ALCMDPP), I've been watching Marvel's Agents of Shield on Wednesday after work instead of on Tuesday nights. I enjoy the show, more or less. It's not the best, but it's trying to do well, and it's head and shoulders above the Batman v Superman Dawn of Crappiness travesty in theaters right now.
Anyway, one of the best thing about the show is Alphonso "Mack" Mackensie.
He is SUCH a hottie. And he's got this deep, sexy voice. But that's just his appearance (which usually is enough for me). In addition to his looks, the character is usually the voice of reason among the other characters, speaking sense and not going to the fringe or using crazytalk or what have you.
So yeah, he's easy on the eyes, and pretty much my favorite character despite his looks. A great combination.
And in the episode "Parting Shots", when the agents had a goodbye toast for two agents leaving, Mack had tears in his eyes....oh it was SO sad....so aDORable, but sad!

Hawkman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman. Back row: Metamorpho, Hawkgirl, Plastic Man, Elongated Man, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Red Tornado, Captain Marvel, and The Atom.
(Metamorpho, Plastic Man and Captain Marvel were not members of the original JLA line-up, that's why I say it's more-or-less the team)

I love fruits (and not just the human kind either). I love cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries! I would eat this entire photo (minus the kiwi....not really into them).

Cars are cars, all over the world...
Earlier in the month, prior to the Great Car Exchange Caper, mom had made plans to get Belle to the local VW mechanic and have her oil changed, a new battery put in and a 40,000 mile checkup. Then two weeks ago, she bought the new car and gave me her old one (click on the above link for the entire story). Well, she kept the appointment and said, she since she had planned it, she'd pay for it all too. Who am I to argue, right?
Monday, she had a meeting to go to, but she was already carpooling with someone else going. I told her I had plans to put some money in the Credit Union and then go to Sam's to get a few things. She said we could both drive to the mechanic, I'd drive her back in her car to her house, and then I could bring her car with me and she's wait there for the carpool. So, okay.
That's what we did. I came home after taking her home. I got everything together, went to the Credit Union, Wal-Mart, then drove to Sam's and Ollie's nearby, and then returned to the Credit Union area where KFC is located, and then came home to eat it. The entire trip was just short of 50 miles.
I gotta tell ya, her car is SUH-weet! It's quite, smooth, has a great get up and go to it. And, best of all, she has a three month free subscription to Sirius radio. If I spent more time in my car than I do, I tell you what: I'd HAVE that Sirius Radio in Belle! My gosh, that is so nice. Whatever type of music I want, non-stop and no commercials. I was rocking out to the Dance/Electronica channels. They were playing a lot of 90s/00s dance songs, and that's when I was a regular at the local gay bar. I remembered a LOT of those songs. What memories. And what a great way to pass the time: not worrying about the slow cars or idiot drivers in front and around me, but instead getting into the music of my youth.
Ah well, maybe some day.
It also has one of those rear view camera thingees. I never remembered I had it until I was already backed out. I did watch it while backing into my parking space here at home, not that I needed it. It's handy, I guess, if you use it.
Anyway, it's a VERY nice car. I like mine, dont get me wrong, but it's a six year newer car, and has some nicer stuff than mine. Although I have a sunroof in mine and she doesn't and so there is that.

Object of my desire, I'm walking on a wire (Part 28)...
Tonight I walked 1.41 miles in 26 minutes.
Seen on tonight's walk: This house, which slips the road in half.
This is Cleveland Avenue I'm standing on and heads right into the house, but right in front, Cleveland Avenue bears right and continues on, and an alley moves on straight to the left of the house. I've always like the idea that this house was just plunked down in the street and split the road.

I'm a walking advertisement, of both dark and light (Part 1)...
I'm gonna try something I've never tried before.
Just tonight, I saw my first political ad of the 2016 political season. GROAN. And it was for our current Republican US senator, Pat Toomey. It regaled us how police are supporting him and how he strove to get more money for police and how he "spoke out against the rioters, when other's failed to do so."
In other words, "he was all pro-police and anti-Black people". And that sells in the area I'm in. In Philly, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg...nah, not so much, but here, you bet. Course, the area *I* live in is going for Toomey and Trump regardless, so it's kinda wasted money. But it's his money, so what do I care?
Anyway, here's what I plan on doing: I'm going to attempt to accurately record how often and how many political ads I see this season. Dont know that I'll remember to (or that I'll frankly want to), but I'm gonna try.
So here we go, starting the list:
Mar 27: 1 ad, 1 ad total.

He can't hide it, that's the story of an average man...
Did you know, the average person in the world would be as follows:
An Asian Christian, man or woman (they were equal), between 25-54 years old. They speak Mandarin. They can read & write. They make between $2 and $10 a day, and they are healthy. They have clean water and shelter. They have a mobile phone but no Internet access. And they did not attend college.
Just throwing this out here, for whatever it's worth.
