Since Marco Rubio lost his home state of Florida to Donald Trump by nearly 20 points, the Florida Senator decided to suspend his campaign tonight.
Yes. Yes I AM shocked. NOT.
Everyone knew Rubio had no path if he lost Florida. And in the last couple days, it became clear he wasn't going to win it. Frankly, his campaign was doomed from the start. He was too young, too inexperienced, too lazy (not interested in voting in the Senate, which is, after all, HIS JOB!), and frankly too ambitious. Had he waited until 2020, he might have had a better shot. But, no, he decided to run now, stabbing his mentor Jeb Bush in the back while doing so.
And that says, really, all you need to know about Marco Rubio.
