TRUTH In The Time Of tRump
The first ten days.....Sad. Pathetic even,
But up and beyond all the sheer stupidity that's taken place there are some very concerning things.
1) After a judge issued an injunction against the ban, some Border and Customs Agents just ignored it. Lawyers showed up at Dulles Airport wanting to see the detainees, as per the court order, and were told, "Not gonna happen." So now, tRump's just going to ignore court orders he doesn't agree with?
2) tRump reshuffled the National Security Council. He kicked off the Ambassador to the UN (which was really no great loss in this case, as his nominee was just a governor of a small Southern state) and the Energy Secretary, who's responsible for the safety and security of our nuclear arsenal, as well (which again is no great loss as his nominee has a degree in Animal Husbandry and is better known for losing on Dancing With The Stars). But previously, whoever held these two positions had seats on the Council. Also, the Chairman Of The Joint Chiefs, the person who spent his life and career working up through the military, is now only going to be in meetings when he told to be there.
Who DID tRump put on the National Security Council in their place? A man who this time last year was running a white supremacy webpage: Steve Bannon. And man with no government experience, no national security experience, no international relations or diplomacy experience.
Seriously, if these two things don't frighten you, or at least worry you, you are...
1) an idiot,
2) not paying attention,
and
3) PART OF THE PROBLEM!
