MAPS!
Today's map shows support for marriage equality in each state in (I'm not sure of the year, but I think it's 2017).
Green, majority support. Light green, plurality support. Pink, plurality against. Red, majority against. Gray, tied.
So basically, more people support marriage equality than oppose it in every state but Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and West Virginia. Which is exactly where you would think they would oppose it.
