And then there's the time Batman kicked a football into the fact of the "Quarterback Of Crime" and knocked his hat off and the gun out of this hand.

If this were from the late 60s/early 70s I'd comment on all the good drugs they were using back then.  But this is from the WWII era.....so I got nothing to explain this.

And this heartwarming pic shows Detroit Lions player Trevor Bates dressed up as Superman with a kid at a pediatric hospital dressed as Batman, I guess.

The football players dressed up as superheroes and hing out with the kids at the hospital for a while.   I'm pretty sure there were smiles all around.
