MAPS!
This map shows the projections for the snow storm that hit the area yesterday.
I live securely in the middle of the purple B area, which means, 15-20 inches of snow were expected.
We got nowhere near that. In the late afternoon, the snow turned to sleet and freezing rain which cut down on the totals. We got maybe 5 inches or so. But it was heavy snow. Was a bitch to shovel today. But I didn't go to work, so I just shoveled the sidewalk, steps and front porch about 9am, and then shoveled out the car about 1pm.
