Sunday night, I went to watch the Downton Abbey series finale with Michelle, Celeste, her daughter, and two neighbors. Before the snow started, we had some food and drinks. They made a drink from the 20's called a Twinkle, which I didn't like at all. But they had some cosmos and some champagne and even some bottled water. I partook of all of those.
Food-wise, it was mainly snacky stuff: salmon pate on pumpernickel, fresh fruits (amazingly fresh), little pastries with crab meat inside, some coconut dessert stuff, cheese and crackers, even chocolate mousse with whipped cream and cherries. And there was other stuff too that I'm forgetting. But it was all (except for the salmon pate on pumpernickel) was delicious!

The finale itself was pleasant and entertaining. I did enjoy it, and I think everyone there did as well. A fun time had during a fun show.

I get points off gas when I use my Rutters card at Rutters. Practically every day I get coffee there, and that gets me points. But getting food there also does. At any rate, I got gas at Rutters on Sunday and I got 32 cents off a gallon! I got gas for $1.55! WOW! Sweet.

Mom called me today and said I would never guess what she did, and I agreed, that I never would. She said she forgot to get her car inspected in February! I thought she found out because some cop gave her a ticket because of it! But luckily, she found it on her own. She immediately called the guy who works on her car and made an appointment to get him to inspect it tomorrow. She's just hoping no cop gets her on her way to his shop.
*SIGH*
But at least she found it out for herself and NOT by a ticket.
