This is my favorite photo of the day...if not the week, month, year and possibly decade!
This is brand new Alabama senator Democrat Doug Jones, being sworn into his Senate by virulent unrepentant homophobe Mike Pence. Having Pence have to sweat in a Democrat to a seat the Republicans should have taken easily is delicious enough.
But the best part about this pic, the part that brings me immense joy and makes me giggle like a school girl, is Doug Jones' openly gay son, Carson, look he's throwing at the homophobe! Oh the shade he's throwing could lower the temperature by ten degrees or more in the midst of summer!
