MAPS!
I've always been interested in alternative histories, and I'd heard before of how great the work of Philip K. Dick is, so I read his famous book, Man In The High Castle....and was overwhelmingly unimpressed by it. Bored and disappointed, actually.
But when I heard a few years ago, Amazon was doing a mini-series based on the book, I knew I had to watch it anyway. And while I wasn't real sure about the actual storylines, the look of the series was stunning and beautiful. And I watched the second series too...feeling even less sure about what the plot was, but again, loving the look even more.
And so, since they've just premiered the third season, I've started watching that too. And now, that I am, today I have a map of the world from The Man In The High Castle.
The red parts are what the Nazis control, the blue is what the Empire of Japan control. The white parts are neutral zones or unclaimed territories.
