Saturday, I went to work, but only for two hours, because I suddenly got very nauseous. I left work, came home, threw up. Then I slept, fitfully for about three hours, before I had a sip of diet ginger ale, and took a bite out of a cracker.....and all of that came right back up. lots of fun.
I did manage to keep things down later, but basically, the whole weekend was me not eating much, and trying not to poop too much. On the upside, I DID watch Ken Burns' The Vietnam War. Which was riveting and, frankly, emotionally wrenching too.
Monday morning, still not feeling great, I had an appointment to get Belle her yearly inspection. And I couldn't find my registration card. Was panicking with just a little bit of time before my appointment. Thought I might have to pay to get a duplicate one. And then, at the last minute, I found it on the cupboard, by the back door, where I PUT it weeks ago so I'd put in the car....and then promptly forgot it was there.
So anyway, today, I finally got to work. It wasn't bad there, surprisingly. But in the afternoon, about 3Pm, my temporary crown just popped off. Lovely. I called the dentist, they were open, and until 5, and when they checked, they had the permanent crown in and ready to go.
So after work, I go in there, and they get the crown on, no problem. But even now, it's still VERY sensitive to cold. I hope that goes away.
Then, of course, there was the Facebook and Instagram attack. I can't access either on my phone, although I can get both on my laptop. And I can't get FB Messenger on my laptop, but I can get it fine on my phone. Gotta LOVE modern technology.
And even though I did not do much of ANYTHING all day, I am presently exhausted.
So to the last couple days, I say.....
