Since St. Patrick's Day is on it's way, this week we have one of the few things Superman is vulnerable to: Green Kryptonite!
The bad alien mineral itself!
Superman's enemy Metallo had his brain implanted in a robotic body with a piece of Kryptonite as it's heart! (hey, the 60s were a wild and crazy time of character creation)
And when John Byrne rebooted Superman in the late 80s, he made Lex Luthor a narcissistic, power mad, ultra rich, businessman (modeled on Donald tRump of the late 80s, I shit you not. Byrne himself said said so in interviews at the time). Lex had a piece of kryptonite he put into a ring a wore all the time, to keep Superman away from him. (Karma would come calling as, while kryptonite does not usually affect humans, constant long term exposure to it did in fact wither Luthor's hand to such a degree he eventually lost the hand at the wrist and had it replaced with a cybernetic hand).
