Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection
Today we travel back to March of 1984, and Marvel's Alpha Flight #8.
Alpha Flight was Marvel's Canadian superhero team. The series was drawn and written by the great artist (and Canadian himself) John Byrne. It was an unusual title. The team gathered together in like the first two issues and then the issues after that were tales of team members, alone or in pairs for a few stories and then they gathered together again in issue 12. It was unconventional, and I wasn't sure that I liked the style. And when Byrne left, the people who took over after him made it a more conventional title.
Anyway, I don't specifically remember this issues, but I know it involved the twins, Aurora and Northstar.
