The Rolling Stone have been making music for over 50 years. What is their best song? Well obviously, it's Gimme Shelter!
I really it might be the all-out, hold-nothing-back, just-fucking-KILLING-it vocals from Merry Clayton, the lady who sings some lyrics. Honest to God, when he voice cracks during 'murder' at about the 3 minute mark....I get goose bumps every time. (and if you listen very closely, after her voice cracks, you can hear someone else yell 'hey' or 'yeah' or 'whoa' in the background. They were impressed as she recorded it I'm still impressed 50 years later)
