Badass Birthday
Today, in 1943 in the Bronx, was born Penny Marshall.
She was a dual Badass! A badass as an actress, for especially playing Laverne DeFazio in the 70s hilarious hit Laverne & Shirley. But she was also a badass as a director on such movies as Jumpin' Jack Flash, Big and especially and most importantly A League Of Their Own (one of my favorite movies ever).
She passed in 2018 at the age of 75.
